Our Musical Theatre Intensive workshop for actors ages 13-18 will produce Les Miserables (School Edition), based on the classic book by Victor Hugo.  Actors will undergo extensive training in dance, voice and movement while rehearsing one of the greatest musicals oof all time. Workshop runs from July 23-August 10.  The show will be August 10-11.

What We Do

impACT is an educational and community theatre in residence at Piedmont Community Charter School in Gastonia, NC. 

FOR STUDENTS:

impACT Theatre provides classes and workshops in theatre and musical theatre for students ages 7-18.  With a curriculum developed by professional theatre educators and performers, impACT students learn skills and techniques to hone their craft as actors while improving self-confidence and self-esteem.   We also stage full productions with student casts in our "Summer Spotlight" program and in various productions throughout the year.  impACT students study voice, movement, choreography, audition basics, characterization skills,  dance, improvisation and other performance  techniques.
